Arsenal are keeping tabs on Czech Republic youngster Tomas Necid.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had scouts check on the centre-forward in action against Manchester United in midweek.

Necid is under consideration at Arsenal as an alternative to Danish centre-forward Nicklas Bendtner after losing Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City in the summer.

Former Real Madrid sports director Pedja Mijatovic came close to prising Necid away from CSKA last season.
