Arsenal are watching Brentford striker Ivan Toney.
The Daily Express says Toney has attracted admirers at Arsenal, who are now set to keep a watchful eye over the Brentford frontman. The 24-year-old lashed in 24 goals last season for Peterborough in League One before completing his £5million move to the Bees, in a deal that could still rise to £10m in add-ons.
Last summer, Toney was tasked with replacing the 2019/20 Championship Player of the Season in Ollie Watkins, who completed a £28m Premier League switch to Aston Villa after finding the net 26 times en route to the play-off final.
Arsenal are among his admirers with the Gunners set to continue tracking his performances.
Mikel Arteta's side, who are already working with limited funds, are not shopping for a striker as things stand.
However, Alexandre Lacazette has just 18 months remaining on his current Arsenal deal and there are question marks surrounding his long-term future in north London.
