Arsenal utility Maitland-Niles: We're upbeat and passionate under Emery

Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles says the club are finally travelling in the right direction under Unai Emery.

The Gunners are only three points outside the top-four after 21 games played.

And Maitland-Niles is confident the players are adjusting to Emery's style.

"[Emery] has brought a lot of energy to the club," said the 21-year-old.

"The difference in the players this season is everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves. The camp is more upbeat and he is very passionate about his football as well. We have taken more care in our training and pre-match planning. Everyone is still trying to get used to it but it is going well at the moment."
