Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is chasing Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill.
The Daily Star says Wenger has turned to Bolton's Cahill as he tries to bring in an established centre-back.
Bolton want up to £20m for the England star but Arsenal are trying to sweeten the deal by offering promising young defender Ignasi Miquel on loan for a year.
