Arsenal are tracking Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Kai Havertz.

The Sun says the Gunners sent scouts to watch the midfielder in action in Germany Under-19's 5-2 defeat to Norway last week.

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest talents in Germany after bursting onto the Bundesliga scene last season.

Premier League rivals Liverpool and Southampton are also believed to be watching him closely.

But Arsene Wenger's side are ready to make their move this summer to try and lure Havertz away from his boyhood club.
