Arsenal, Tottenham made offers for Rennes teen Eduardo Camavinga

Arsenal and Tottenham have made offers for Rennes teen Eduardo Camavinga.

The 16-year-old produced a dazzling display against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday to help his side to a shock 2-1 win against the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

L'Equipe says both the Gunners and Spurs made offers to sign the teenager this summer, but Rennes ultimately knocked them back.

They also state that La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid had approaches turned down, as well as German clubs Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

The deals would have seen the defensive midfielder return to Rennes on a two-year loan deal.

And despite Arsenal being rebuffed in their bid to sign Camavinga, it has been claimed that they sent scouts to watch the player in action against Les Parisiens on the weekend.
