Arsenal and Tottenham are going head-to-head for Norwich City fullback Max Aarons.
The Daily Mail says a bid of £30 million would persuade Norwich to part with Aarons, but he could return to the relegation strugglers on loan until the end of the season.
Arsenal are believed to have already been in contact with Norwich over the prospect of signing Aarons, while Everton and West Ham are also interested.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has identified Aarons as having the attributes required to play a key role in his desired system at the Emirates.
Tottenham are hopeful of beating their rivals to land the services of Aarons however, who is certain to leave Norwich should they fail to avoid relegation.
