Arsenal, Tottenham eyeing RB Leipzig striker Marcel Sabitzer

Arsenal and Tottenham are watching RB Leipzig striker Marcel Sabitzer.

Spurs are interested in making a move for Sabitzer after the midfielder played a huge part in knocking them out of the Champions League, but they will face competition from rivals Arsenal, says Calciomercato.com.

Leipzig's number seven began his career in his native Austria with Admira Wacker in 2010 before making a switch to Rapid Wien.

He was there for just one season before he was snapped up by Leipzig in 2014, who sent him back to Austria for a loan at affiliate Red Bull Salzburg.

He then returned to establish his place in the Leipzig first team, where he has since played 178 times, scoring 42 goals.
