Arsenal and Tottenham are among the teams being linked with a £17 million move for Denis Zakaria.

The highly rated Swiss defensive midfielder is available this summer.

According to Bild, Zakaria wants to quit Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach in the present transfer window.

The two North London clubs, along with Everton, have a serious interest in the 24-year-old.

Zakaria is 6ft 2in and seen as one of the most imposing midfielders in his role.

Recent injury issues have seen is stock fall slightly, but a summer move may give him a chance to shine in the Premier League.
