Arsenal are wrapping up the signing of Brazilian youngster Gabriel Martinelli.
Globo Esporte says he is expected to become Unai Emery's first summer signing in a £6m deal - and his current club, Ituano, will announce the deal soon.
He turned 18 last week, meaning he is now allowed to move to Europe and confirmation was expected once his birthday passed.
But it still seems the move is on, after Martinelli posted a photo with friends, one of whom reposted it on his own Instagram story with the caption: “Safe trip. God bless you, just progress for your life. We'll be out there soon, God willing."
The post suggests Martinelli will leave Brazil imminently to arrive in North London, where he is expected to start out in the Under 23s squad with a view to earning a spot in Unai Emery's first team plans.
