Arsenal are ready to splash out on Brentford defender Ezri Konsa.

The Sun says the Gunners are ready to bid £15million for Konsa.

Konsa, 21, was signed from Charlton for £2.85million in June and Arsenal's spies believe he can step up to the Prem.

The England Under-21 cap was born in London and the chance to move to one of the giants of the game will appeal to him.

Gunners want to strengthen a few areas in January and have funds to land their targets.
