Arsenal are preparing to make a genuine move for Alexandre Lacazette as an alternative to their pursuit of Gonzalo Higuain, according to Le Progres.
Arsenal are currently in the market to sign a world class striker this summer and Napoli star Higuain has widely been mentioned as the main target for the Gunners.
However, Napoli are believed to be playing hardball in negotiations for Argentine ace Higuain which could prompt Arsene Wenger to return with a bid for Lyon star Lacazette.
If unable to land former Real Madrid star Higuani, Wenger will focus his attention on the £42million-rated Lacazette who has constantly been linked with the North Londoners over the past few months.
