Arsenal have taken Lucas Torreira off the market.
The Uruguay midfielder, reports TMW, was made available by the Gunners to AC Milan - but for a set price.
Milan had been pushing to take Torreira on a two-season loan, but the Gunners insisted he would only be allowed to leave in a €50m cash deal.
The Rossonero have refused to do business, meaning Torreira is set to start preseason an Arsenal player.
It was suggested should the Gunners have sold, they'd have used the cash raised to go for Real Betis whiz Giovani Lo Celso or Real Madrid's Dani Ceballos.
