Arsenal youngster Dan Crowley has joined Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles on trial with a view to a loan spell in the second half of the season, reports the London Evening Standard.
19 year old creative midfielder, who had been heralded as a possible successor to Jack Wilshere on his arrival from Aston Villa in 2014, had his first training session with his new Eredivisie side in Deventer on Thursday.
Go Ahead Eagles, who currently prop up the Dutch table, hope to complete the youngster a short term deal for Crowley next month, in the meantime they will be unable to play him in first-team fixtures.
