Portugal star William Carvalho has been named the Player of the Tournament at the UEFA U21 European Championships.
The 23-year old midfielder, who plays for Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon, was his side's key performer as Portugal made it to the final of the U21 Euros in the Czech Republic.
Carvalho, who continues to be linked with a summer move to Arsenal, did not miss a minute of Portugal's campaign which ended with a heartbreaking 4-3 penalty shootout loss to Sweden in Prague on Tuesday night.
The 13-time Portugal senior international had a tournament high in minutes played (480), passes attempted (394) and passes completed (349).
