Malaga striker Jose Salomon Rondon is staying.

Rondon is a target for Arsenal, but wants to stay and play with new Malaga signing Ruud van Nistelrooy.

"It was a pretty good year knowing we had the challenge of staying in La Liga. Things have turned out well and I had a chance to score many goals," said Rondon.

"Spain is the best league in the world and the players are all of a high level."
