Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has claimed that Arsenal target Riyad Mahrez looks happy at Leicester City.

Rodgers witnessed the Algerian winger at Celtic Park on Saturday as he showed glimpses of his form from last season when scoring an impressive goal in the friendly win over the Hoops.

"He looks happy," Rodgers said at full-time. "If he is playing well and working well, I wouldn't say there is a need for him to move."

The 25-year-old has been strongly linked with a £40million move to the Gunners in the past week.
