Arsenal are targeting CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov, according to reports.
The 21-year-old was the top goalscorer in the Russian Premier League last season, scoring 15 goals in 30 appearances as well as providing on seven assists.
Sky Sports says Arsenal will face competition from Sevilla and Monaco to sign the Russia international.
Chalov broke into the senior side during the 2016/17 season and has established himself as a star of the club.
The news comes after striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was linked with a big money move to China.
With a limited budget this summer, Gunners boss Unai Emery is looking to make shrewd signings and is pushing for Chalov to be on the first.
