Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu plans to make a decision over a transfer next week.

Soyuncu is currently on holiday in Ibiza, Spain along with Roma starlet Cengiz Under.

Turkish-Football says sources have stated the defender will make a decision after the weekend, with Arsenal in contact.

Altinordu president Mehmet Ozkan confirmed last week he expected Soyuncu to join the Gunners. Ozkan sold the defender to Freiburg.

“Caglar Soyuncu is set to join Arsenal," he said.

“Of course we would make a cut from the transfer if he joins Arsenal.

“Arsenal asked us for data on his time at the club, we have put something together for them which will be handed over."
