Arsenal have tabled a massive new bid for AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.

The Daily Star says Arsenal have launched a £60m bid for Lemar.

The Monaco winger was close to joining the Emirates in the summer before a deadline day deal collapsed.

Liverpool have also been linked with Lemar.

However, Arsenal have made the first move, launching an official bid for the Ligue 1 star.

It is claimed the Frenchman would prefer a move to Anfield.

And the Merseyside outfit may now offer their own bid, having sold star man Philippe Coutinho for £142m this week.
