Arsenal have launched a bid for Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Aymen Barkok.

Spox says the 19 year-old's emergence have not gone unnoticed with Arsenal said to be interested in securing his services.

Arsene Wenger had a bid rejected by Frankfurt for the youngster last season.

But the Arsenal boss, who has been watching him for some time, has tabled another offer that is no more than £10m for the attacking midfielder.

It is said their approach was made before Barkok represented the Germany Under-19's against Bulgaria last night.

He is contracted to the club until the summer of 2020.
