The Arsenal Supporters' Trust (AST) have taken aim at departing chief executive Ivan Gazidis.
It was announced yesterday that Gazidis is leaving the club to take charge of AC Milan next month.
An AST spokesman told the London Evening Standard: “The departure of Ivan Gazidis does not come at a good time given all the recent changes. Football clubs need leadership and stability, especially when transitioning from a 22-year period of one-person [Arsene Wenger] rule.
“Just three months ago Ivan Gazidis was telling fans of his wholehearted commitment to Arsenal and being on a journey together. So what changed? Most likely is that a combination of a good offer and his disquiet at the full takeover by [Stan] Kroenke has persuaded him to move on.
“It is important Arsenal choose someone who can work with supporters to make Arsenal stronger."
