Arsenal's stayaway fans are now hitting the club's bottomline.

The Mirror says Arsenal have published their accounts for the year ending May 31 2019 - showing a £30million loss in matchday revenue.

The Gunners have gone from a pre-tax profit of £97.4million to a pre-tax loss of £23.5million amid wretched form on the pitch.

Arsenal made over £100million less in player sales - going from £122million to £16million - not including figures from the summer transfer window.

But perhaps the most stark figure was the matchday revenue falling to £69million.

Overall, revenue fell from £388.6million to £367.5million - something the club attribute to the delay in season ticket sales following the Europa League final.
