Arsenal struggling to convince Lacazette, Aubameyang to sign new contracts

Arsenal are having a difficult time agreeing new contracts with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

The two forwards are by far the most prolific players for the Gunners, often bailing them out in games with moments of individual brilliance.

But it appears they could have a short future at the club, as neither is willing to sign a new contract right now.

Goal claims that both players are keeping their options open, since they want to see if the club will qualify for next season's Champions League.

It puts even more pressure on this season on boss Unai Emery, who must get the Gunners to a top four position to keep his job.

Losing Lacazette and Aubameyang would set the club back significantly, as their goals would cost a fortune to replace.
