Arsenal striker Sanogo set for Ajax loan

Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo is set to join Ajax on loan according to reports.

Dutch paper De Telegraaf claims that the 22-year-old striker will be sent to Amsterdam for a season-long spell to closely work with Ajax assistant manager Dennis Bergkamp in order to kick-start his career.

The French striker, who has made 11 Premier League appearances for the Gunners, moved to Crystal Palace in the second half of last season, but failed to make any impact.

Arsenal are hoping the influence of club legend Bergkamp will help bring out the best in Sanogo who joined the north London club from Auxerre in 2013.
