However, football.london reports that it is not a severe ankle injury and Lacazette will be fit to face Leicester City at the Emirates.

In more positive news for Arsenal, Emile Smith Rowe has also returned to individual training after recovering from Covid.

Mikel Arteta will be hoping his team consolidate their fourth position on the table with a win over the Foxes.

Their top-four rivals, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, face each other at Old Trafford on Sunday.
