Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus is continuing his quest for a quick comeback.
The Brazilian forward has been absent since the World Cup with a knee injury.
Despite the Gunners excelling in his absence, forward Eddie Nketiah is their only recognized striker at present.
There has been an update on Jesus from medical expert Dr. Rajpal Brar.
"Return timeline after MCL surgery is typically 10-12 weeks," he wrote on Twitter.
"Ligament heals quite well due to robust blood supply. Granit Xhaka was back in 70 days & would've been sooner if not for the accompanying fracture as well. True timeline will be wait and see."
Last week, Jesus posted on Instagram that he was back on grass, which means he may be close to joining in with first team training.
