Arsenal striker Aubameyang reverses Gabon decision

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reversed his international retirement decision.

Aubameyang – who is joint-second in the race for the Premier League's golden boot with 17 goals – had sparked talk he would hang up his international boots after missing Gabon's last two matches against South Sudan and Mali.

At the time, no official reason was given for his absence against South Sudan, although reports had suggested he was unhappy with the travel arrangements, reports The Sun.

But it would appear Aubameyang is not ready to turn his back on Gabon just yet and he has been included in coach Daniel Cousin's 23-man squad to face Burundi on Saturday.

This could have ramifications for Arsenal's push for a top-four spot as well as their chances of Europa League glory.
