Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has claimed that his Instagram account was hacked after someone posted a picture of him along with his ex-girlfriend Mandy Capristo.

The caption along with the picture read: "I know I messed up Mandy but I will always love you."

The Instagram post led to speculation that the German has reconciled with his ex-girlfriend; however, he swiftly put an end to such speculation by claiming that his account had been hacked.

"My Instagram account has been hacked - my team and I are working on it," the 28-year-old said on Twitter.
