And that is believed to have opened the door to a potential move to Arsenal or Tottenham.

The former Monaco man, 22, has been linked with Unai Emery's Gunners.

And Mauricio Pochettino's exciting Spurs side are also said to be admirers.

But it is thought Mourinho would not want to sell to a domestic rival - while pushing for Martial to have a possible move abroad.
