Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will slap in a bid for Lille striker Gervinho in the coming days.
The Sunday Express says Wenger has been given the go-ahead to launch a multi-million pound bid to avert an Arsenal crisis.
He is set to offer £12million for Lille's Ivorian striker Gervinho, 23, but he faces stiff competition from Tottenham and Manchester City.
