Arsenal summer signing Nicolas Pepe has spoken about the positive influence of manager Unai Emery.

The Gunners big money arrival has only come on as a substitute in their first two Premier League games of the season.

But Pepe says Emery's ability to speak French has helped him quickly adjust to his tactics.

"It's been really good because he [Emery] speaks French and it has been much easier for us to communicate," he told Arsenal Player.

"I am new, the strategy and tactics are new and it really helps that I can get the coach's assistance. Now I need to learn English and this is something he is helping me with also.
