Arsenal serious about move for Valencia whizkid Carlos Soler

Arsenal are plotting a summer move for Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler.

The 23-year-old is considered a player with immense potential, having made 105 La Liga appearance since he broke through the academy ranks at Los Che.

He has long been on the radar of countrymen Mikel Arteta, who is desperate to bolster his midfield stocks once the offseason rolls around, per Sky Sports.

Arteta is reportedly scouring Spanish football, using his various connections and scouts, to revitalise his Arsenal squad.

Valencia are looking to balance their books by selling players, and it is believed Soler would only cost around £36m.

It is an affordable fee for the Gunners, who will have to be frugal after likely missing out on European football for next season.
