Arsenal youngster Emile Smith Rowe has admitted that he rejected a move to Barcelona.
The 18-year-old is the first player who was born in this century to net a goal for the Gunners.
And he has a long term deal at the club, while he is continuing to make inroads with the first team.
He admits that he could have joined Barcelona, but decided against the move.
He told Sky Sports: "I used to watch that Barcelona team, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, when they were in their prime.
"So when I found out that they were interested of course I was very happy, but I can't explain to you how much I feel that Arsenal is the right club for me.
"That's my main goal at the moment [making Premier League debut].
"Just getting that first appearance behind me and hopefully going on from there and starting games."
