Arsenal are pondering a bid for PSV Eindhoven attacker Gaston Pereiro.

Brabants Dagblad says the Gunners sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old in action against FC Utrecht on Saturday.

And the youngster didn't disappoint, coming on as a late substitute to bag the winner in a 2-1 win.

Arsenal will face stiff competition for Pereiro's signature, with Portuguese giants Porto also credited with interest.
