Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas gave all of his teammates an end of season gift before the players disbanded for summer holidays. Gunners midfielder Andrei Arshavin fears it may be a parting gift as Fabregas' future at the North London club is even more clouded than it ever has been with Barcelona reportedly very close to getting their man.
After the Spaniard presented all his mates with a little present, Arshavin told reporters that there were a few jokes made and said that Fabregas' silence may have told more of the story.
"Only Cesc should decide if he leaves or not," Arshavin said. "Serious conversations on this topic in the team were not made - well, we joked a bit, as usual.
"Before leaving on vacation, Fabregas gave little gifts to each player and I asked him, 'What is this? A parting gift?' He said nothing.
"It says there is something behind this silence."
