Arsenal management have ruled out replacing their departing head of recruitment Sven Mislintat.

Mislintat's departure is part of another backroom shake-up which will see the appointment of a technical director, says The Sun.

The new man will be responsible for defining the club's style of play from youth to senior level and co-ordinating with all of the coaching staff.

And he will also oversee future transfer business, working with the Arsenal recruitment group which is already in place all around the world.

Mislintat will continue to help the club in their search for loan signings during the remaining ten days of the transfer window.
