Arsenal, Roma join battle for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard

Arsenal are interested in Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.

The Frenchman, who has scored 82 goals in 159 matches for the Scottish champions, is also interesting Leicester City, Aston Villa and Serie A side AS Roma.

The Leicester Mercury says the Gunners are reportedly prepared to sell Alexandre Lacazette or Eddie Nketiah this summer, which could pave the way for Edouard while Roma are looking for a long-term replacement for Edin Dzeko.

The report details that Edouard could be allowed to leave for around £20m this summer, with Celtic previously valuing the 23-year-old at around double that price.

Edouard's contract at Celtic Park - where he has been since a loan deal from PSG in 2017 - is due to expire in the summer of 2022.

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers worked with Edouard during his time at Celtic and is believed to be keen on a reunion at the King Power.
