Reports suggest that Arsenal's Santi Cazorla could be sidelined for as any as four months.
The Spanish midfielder sustained ligament damage in his left knee during last weekend's 1-1 draw with Norwich City which was initially set to see him miss up to 12 weeks.
However, the Daily Mail understands that a more recent diagnosis of Cazorla indicates he may been the outer until April.
That news suggests the 30-year-old playmaker might struggle to play again for the Gunners this season in what is a major blow for Arsene Wenger and his side's Premier League title hopes.
