Arsenal have joined the scramble for Toulouse defender Issa Diop.

Gunners chief Sven Mislintat has a brief to bring a new, young centre-half to the club this summer.

Calciomercato.com says Arsenal, Tottenham and Barcelona are involved in a three-way battle to sign highly-rated Toulouse defender Diop.

Diop, 21, progressed through the ranks at Toulouse and is now an established member of Mickael Debeve's Ligue 1 side.

The youngster is being tracked by the European trio, who are all eager to bolster their defensive ranks.
