Arsenal haven't dropped their pursuit of Nigerian youngster Samuel Chukwueze.
The Daily Star says the Gunners have been trying to seal a deal for the 16-year-old, along with Nigeria Under-17 team-mate Kelechi Nwakali, since the start of the year.
Nwakali confirmed last month that he had signed a five-year contract to make the move to the Emirates Stadium.
But All Nigeria Soccer claim the deal for Chukwueze had been on the brink of collapse due to a dispute between Arsenal and Diamond Academy over the transfer fee.
A source said: “There was a little bit of hitch, at the end of the day it was resolved if and only if Diamond Academy agree.
“Arsenal want to pay Chukwueze's transfer fee when he is 18, Diamond felt it was too far for them. But they should agree."
