Arsenal management aren't giving up on keeping striker Eddie Nketiah.

Off contract in June, Nketiah has so far resisted agreeing to new terms with the Gunners.

The Athletic says Borussia Mönchengladbach made an attempt for the young striker this week, but the approach was immediately rejected by Arsenal.

In addition to Gladbach, Bayer Leverkusen are also trying to sign the youngster, though unlike den Fohlen, would prefer to negotiate a pre-contract with him.

For their part, Arsenal will continue to push Nketiah to sign new terms.
