Arsenal are ready to go higher to close their early market deals.
The London Evening Standard says Arsenal are working hard on deals for Brighton defender Ben White and Anderlecht midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga after having opening bids for the pair knocked back.
The Gunners made offers for both players this week, tabling £40million for White and around £13m for Lokonga.
Both bids were knocked back, but Arsenal remain very keen on the duo and are still working hard to bring them in.
The club are looking to bolster their squad this summer and they hold an interest in Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who was called into the England squad this week, and Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.
A move for Ramsdale, however, will depend on the future of Bernd Leno, who is expected to hold talks with Arsenal about his future.
