Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is prepared to sell Gael Clichy - but not to Liverpool.
The London Evening Standard says Wenger has indicated he will sell Clichy now to avoid losing him for nothing when his contract expires next summer and Liverpool have reportedly tabled a £5million bid.
But it is believed that Wenger is reluctant to sell to one of Arsenal's rivals and is set to sanction a move abroad, with Inter Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Roma among the interested clubs.
Clichy, the last remaining member of Arsenal's 'Invincibles' team of 2004, is settled in England and is open to a move to another Premier League club.
