Arsenal raid Man Utd to bring back top Brazilian scout Sandro Orlandelli

Arsenal have welcomed back top scout Sandro Orlandelli from Manchester United.

Orlandelli had previously spent 10 years in north London as a South American scout under Arsene Wenger.

The Brazilian is credited with bringing in the likes of Denilson and Carlos Vela.

He had also been working with the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) before joining Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford in 2016.

Orlandelli had remained at the club since the Portuguese's sacking but has now secured a return to the Emirates, says the Mirror.

Arsenal sporting director Edu made the move to bring back Orlandelli, to boost the club's South American scouting pool, reports Brazilian journalist Marcus Alves.
