Arsenal put forward Willock, Nelson & Nketiah in exchange for Leicester ace Maddison

Arsenal are proposing to add several players into any package for Leicester City star James Maddison.

The Gunners are reportedly very eager to secure the attacking midfielder this summer, as manager Mikel Arteta looks to add creativity to this team.

Arsenal will not pay the £60 million valuation that Leicester have set for Maddison.

The club is, however, willing to add one or more fringe players to reduce the asking price.

Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson or Eddie Nketiah are on the table as possible makeweights in any deal that would take Maddison to the Emirates Stadium club this summer, according to The Mirror.

Maddison is only 24 and has starred at Leicester since arriving from Norwich City in 2018.

Newcastle have been hoping to sign Willock after his successful loan last season, while Nelson is a target for Crystal Palace.
