Arsenal are still pushing for £40 million for Cesc Fabregas.
The Daily Express says having made an improved bid for Fabregas, which is worth a total of £34m, Barcelona are confident of wrapping up a deal.
The Gunners are trying to haggle the fee closer to £40m, but Barca have now offered to withdraw a threat to complain to FIFA about Arsenal signing two of their best teenagers - Jon Toral and Hector Bellerin - if the Fabregas deal can be pushed through.
Barca president Sandro Rosell is currently in Argentina for talks with Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez.
