Arsenal prepared to waive sell-on clause to sign their former player

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to pay £11million and waive their sell–on clause in order to lure former player Oguzhan Ozyakup.

Ozyakup joined the Gunners as a youth in 2008. After failing to establish himself within Arsene Wenger's first team plans, he left the club to link up with Besiktas in 2012.

Arsenal are said to have been impressed by the performances of Ozyakup, who has established himself as a key member of the Besiktas side, so much so that they want to bring him back to North London.

Should they buy him, the Gunners will forfeit the 30 percent sell–on clause fee that they were set to pocket if Besiktas sold Ozyakup.
