Arsenal are preparing an offer that will match the price Lorient are asking for Alexis Claude-Maurice.
The Gunners have failed with two bids for the 21-year-old winger this summer.
However, reports from Get French Football News indicate a third bid will be enough to convince Lorient to part with their left sided attacker.
Gunners boss Unai Emery is a huge fan of Claude-Maurice, who managed 1 goals and four assists in Ligue 2 last term.
The third Arsenal bid is said to come in at around £18 million.
It would not be the first deal between the two clubs, as Arsenal signed Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient last term.
