Arsenal hope to make an offer for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund in the summer.

Hojlund joined Atalanta in August in a £15 million deal and has impressed.

The forward has five goals in his past eight Serie A appearances since the World Cup.

Per La Repubblica, Arsenal will test Atalanta's resolve to hold onto Hojlund in the summer.

Whether he would get into the Arsenal team is another matter, given the Gunners' strength in attacking areas.

Hojlund may be someone who manager Mikel Arteta sees as a rotation option.
